Klasse Wrecks teams up with Japan’s renowned Rainbow Disco Club to present WRECKSRDC, a reissue project centered on Tokyo electro-pop band Overrocket, whose early 2000s tracks “Duralumin” and “Shadow of the Sun” were rediscovered by Luca Lozano and brought back to life with remixes by KW label heads and mastering by Japanese artist Gonno. The EP blends nostalgic early-2000s electro-pop with modern energy—Lozano’s gritty reinterpretations of “Shadow of the Sun” and Mr. Ho’s driving take on “Duralumin” channel the raw, carefree spirit of the era, while Gonno’s mastering brings the sound full circle just miles from where it began.
