British producer/DJ Leon Vynehall kicks off his own label Studio Ooze with 'Rosebud'. Electro-flecked chord stabs, formant-twisted soulful vocals, and futuristic laser-shot breakdowns make it sound as if it were hailing from an alternate world. Vynehall's sound design is both cerebral and emotional, a welcome return to Vynehall's dancefloor-focused inclinations.
