"this 12" vinyl release is comprised of two 15-minute sides which have been plundered from montreal musician and sound-artist danji buck-moore's soundtrack to the film leisure time future: the rattlesnake. the film is the third and final part of a trilogy, polyrhythm technoir, made in close collaboration with cologne / berlin-based artists henning fehr and philipp rühr. through more than a dozen interviews and diverse locations throughout north america it seeks perspectives on and propositions for the next chapters of organization and mobilization of people and ideas around the techno scene, permaculture and ecology, and urban pranksterism. excerpts from the soundtrack are comprised entirely of field recordings, largely of different musics, captured on-location in various spaces throughout mexico city, detroit, montreal, the catskill mountains, and midcoast maine."
